Let Guilt or Fear / Disturb Man’s Rest: Cato knows neither of ’em, / Indiff’rent in his Choice to sleep or die.

Now I stand / Loose of my vow; but who knows Cato's thoughts?

Vent all its griefs, and give a loose to sorrow.

Beauty soon grows familiar to the lover, / Fades in the eye, and palls upon the sense.
